This document outlines the process for requesting data deletion from the HiredTap platform.

1. Scope of the Policy

This policy applies to all HiredTap users, including customers and service providers, who wish to request the deletion of their personal data from the platform.

2. Data Deletion Rights

Under Indian laws, users can request the deletion of personal data stored on HiredTap, including:

Personal details such as name, email, phone number, and address.

Service history, transaction records, and payment details.

Sensitive personal data collected for service delivery.

Note: Certain data may be retained as required by law, for fraud prevention, or regulatory compliance.

3. Data Deletion Request Process

Submit a Request:

Email your request to privacy@hiredtap.com with the subject line "Data Deletion Request."

Verification:

Provide proof of identity, such as:

A government-issued ID.

Account details like registered email or phone number.

Processing:

HiredTap will process the request within 30 days upon verification.

Confirmation:

Users will receive an email confirming the successful deletion of their data.

4. Limitations on Data Deletion

Data deletion may have the following limitations:

Data required for legal compliance (e.g., tax records).

Retention of anonymized or aggregated data that does not identify individuals.

Data necessary for dispute resolution or fraud prevention.

5. Dispute Resolution

For disputes regarding data deletion, contact the grievance officer at grievance@hiredtap.com.

The grievance officer will respond within 7 business days.

Unresolved disputes can be escalated to the Data Protection Authority under Indian laws.
